Daren White
Daren is a highly experienced former teacher and Senior Leader with a passion for integrating technology into education. With over 20 years of experience in teaching and over 10 years in leadership roles, he is now Academic Technologies Lead for one of the UK’s largest Multi-Academy Trusts.
As a Google certified Trainer, Innovator, and Coach, Daren co-leads GEG UK and was recognized as a 2021/22 #Edtech50 award-winner. Additionally, he is a Microsoft Innovative Educator and an Apple Teacher.
Daren is a dynamic presenter who has led training, conference workshops & presentations both in the UK and internationally. He has organised and presented at a host of events including BETT UK, The Tight Budget Summit and recently co-organised the Embracing AI in Education conference in Leeds, England.
He is fluent in English and Spanish and is dedicated to helping teachers integrate effective pedagogy with the help of technology in the classroom.
Daren has also published 2 books on education: What’s Their Why? focused on motivation and engagement in education, and It’s Your Time You’re Wasting! focused on efficiencies in education.
