ThingLink, Chief Community Officer - Google for Education Scotland Lead - The Highland Council ICT in Learning Manager, The Highland Council / NHS Highland Health Improvement Manager (CfE Health and Wellbeing Curriculum), Health Promoting Schools Manager, Portsmouth City Council, Education Lead, Inclusion Projects Manger, Oxford County Council, Youth and Community Manager.
What's my why?! - I genuinely believe learning experiences can be more accessible, more engaging, more impactful, culturally and contextually relevant for learners with the right type of multimodal technologies and skilled, confident educators. I'm a systemic thinker for solving challenges, believe in supporting educators, parents / carers and creating a vibrant community around the school.
I wish that all learners (throughout life) can have opportunities presented to them that provide this and enable them to participate in contributing too. Luckily, many many years ago, I belonged to a community where it didn't matter what you looked like, your background, your abilities or likes, or even what you did, it taught me a lot about diversity!
